“Magpasikat” took over the slot of “Showtime” wherein this time the show would showcase celebrities’ talents. ABS-CBN stopped the airing of “Showtime” Tuesday, January 12. THE Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) placed ABS-CBN’s talent-reality show “Showtime” under a 20-day suspension order.
This started from the statement made by sexy star and “Showtime” judge Rosanna Roces pertaining to teachers. On the January 7 episode of the show, Roces made a comment about teachers as “repeaters,” which earn a lot of buzz not only from the studio audience but also from the viewing public as well.
