Lucy Torres, a tv host and wife of actor Richard Gomez was a replacement for Richard’s candidacy in Ormoc, Leyte because of a disqualification case filed against him. The actor was disqualified by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) because of his failure to establish residency in Ormoc, Leyte. Richard endorsed Lucy to run for public office as his substitute even before the COMELEC reached its final decision on the matter. Lucy was also in danger of being disqualified because of her husband Richard’s previous case with the Commission on Elections (Comelec). Comelec approves Lucy Torre’s run for Congress. As a result, Lucy emerged victorious and is now a congresswoman, a very beautiful congresswoman.
