Vice Ganda to star in “Petrang Kabayo”

‘Showtime’ host Vice Ganda takes his first lead role in a remake of the hit movie ‘Petrang Kabayo.’

“Petrang Kabayo” is a film about a gay named Petra with a bad attitude who is cursed by Silveria, the godess of horses. The curse turns Petra into a white horse. He only returns to normal if he respects and treats people well.

The original “Petrang Kabayo” in the early 90′s was portrayed by Roderick Paulate.

Vice Ganda was tapped to be the lead in the remake because of his monicker “Kabayo.”

“Petrang Kabayo” is produced by Viva Films and is being directed by Wenn Deramas.
