Filipina singer and actress, Lea Salonga best known for her musical role in Miss Saigon, will play Fantine for a special one-off 25th Anniversary Concert of Les Misérables to be held at The 02 Arena in North Greenwich on Sunday 3rd October 2010 at 7pm.
This is the third time that Lea Salonga will be part of the cast of the hit musical. First was for the 10th Anniversary of Les Misérables wherein Lea played the part of
Eponine, the second one was on the 20th Anniversary of Les Misérables, wherein she played Fantine.
The 25th anniversary concert at The O2 will feature Alfie Boe as Jean Valjean, Norm Lewis as Javert, Lea Salonga as Fantine, Nick Jonas as Marius, Camilla Kerslake as Cosette, Jenny Galloway as Madame Thenerdiér, and Matt Lucas as Thenerdiér.

For your information, Lea first played the role of Eponine in 1993 after her initial stint in Miss Saigon (Broadway). So, she has been in Les Mis for 3 times already — 1993 (Broadway), 1995 (London), and 2007 (Broadway). The 25th Anniversary concert in London will be her fourth.
