“Bagong Pilipinas” will be played on President-elect Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III inauguration.
Inauguaration of President Noynoy will take place on June 30 at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila and some of the artists who will perform “Bagong Pilipinas” are Diamond Soul Siren Nina, Noel Cabangon, singing champion Jed Madela, Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano, Asian Balladeer Christian Bautista and Alcasid’s real life sweetheart Regine Velasquez.
Ogie Alcasid
Ogie Alcasid who also composed President Noynoy’s campaign song “Di Ka Nag-Iisa,” composed the song “Bagong Pilipinas” with a simple message for all people to unite. He was commissioned by the inaugural committee to compose a song for the President-elect’s oath taking on June 30.
