Korean idol Super Junior have taken over the number one spot on two of the country’s top record stores Astroplus/Astrovision and Music One’s album charts (dated June 28 to July 4, 2010). According to Universal Records, the sales of “Bonamana” CD has reached the 1 MILLION PESO mark in just 4 HOURS!
The 1st studio release “Bonamana” by Super Junior has also maintained the top spot on the Philippines music chart MYX for 6 weeks.
The thirteen-member boy band (now reduced to ten) who made their debut in 2005 with their first full-length album “SuperJunior05 (TWINS)”, has been considered the first and only K-Pop Group to have five number 1 albums in the Philippines “Sorry Sorry”, “Super Girl”, Super Show 2 LIVE”, “Don’t Don”, and now “Bonamana“.
On July 9, 2010, Bonamana Version A and B was released in the Philippines.
