According to Department of Education (DepEd) director for the National Capital Region (NCR) Flordeliza Magday, classes in Metro Manila and in the Southern Tagalog region will resume at all levels on Thursday, July 15. Typhoon Basyang is now aiming China.
Meanwhile, DepEd Region 4-A director Paraluman Giron announced that classes will resume in Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon also on Thursday.
Metro Manila experienced a Luzon-wide blackout beginning Wednesday after strong winds from “Typhoon Basyang” downed power transmission lines.
According to MERALCO, power may not be restored in 24 hours. Power will return to normal in one to two days.
But, here in Tondo, we have just got back our electricity as of 12:00 AM, July 15. How about in your area? May kuryente na ba sa inyo?
