Top Rank Promotions chairman Bob Arum said that the Pacquiao-Mayweather bout is dead.
Floyd Mayweather failed to respond Arum’s deadline yesterday on whether he will fight Pacquiao on November 13.
Bob Arum also guessed that the coming August trial of Roger Mayweather, Floyd’s uncle and chief trainer, may have something to do with it. A battery charge was filed against Mayweather’s uncle by a female boxer he once handled.
But, Arum is not losing his hope, he will continue to make the big fight happen next year.
Pacquiao might fight Antonio Margarito or reigning World Boxing Association (WBA) junior middleweight titlist Miguel Cotto this year.
