“PANGAKO” BY OGIE ALCASID PIRATED BY KOREANS

I was watching Showbiz Central today, they interviewed Ogie Alcasid about the song “Pangako” which was pirated in South Korea.  Actually, this was reported two years ago, but I think this is worth posting.

The song For Your Love by Jang Hye Jin is the pirated version of “Pangako.” “Pangako” is composed by Ogie Alcasid, sung and popularized by her girlfriend Regine Velasquez.

For Your Love is included in the soundtrack of the 2002 SBS Korean Drama “Glass Slippers” (aka Glass Shoes),  which was shown and dubbed here in tagalog by GMA 7.  By the way I like this drama, it’s really a tearjerker.

Anyway, here is the video of the original “Pangako” by Regine:

and this is the Korean “Pirated” Version of “Pangako:”

Pirated nga! Hindi man lang iniba ng konti!
