Heiress Paris Hilton was found at the Figari Airport in Corsica with less than a gram of marijuana in her bag after sniffer dogs detected it. She was reportedly on her way to Sardinia via her private jet for a vacation.
Reports said that Paris was held and questioned but was released 30 minutes later.
Paris Hilton was also caught on suspicion of possession of marijuana during the World Cup on a quarterfinal match between Brazil and the Netherlands in South Africa, but a court in South Africa dropped the charges against her.
Paris denied rumors about the marijuana scandal through her Twitter account, she said:
“So sick of people making up rumors about me. The latest one about me is completely false too. Don’t believe what you read. Silly nonsense.”
“Just to put an end to these rumors. The stories saying I have been arrested are completely false! I am having the best vacation of my life! What an amazing summer! I feel so blessed and grateful for everything. I Love Life!!
