Good news to all “Wowowee” haters, ABS-CBN officially announced that the now low-rating “Wowowee” will be replaced by a new show called, “Pilipinas Win na Win,” which starts July 31.
“Pilipinas Win na Win,” will be hosted by Kris Aquino, Robin Padilla, and “Wowowee” female hosts Pokwang, Valerie Concepcion and Mariel Rodriguez.
“It is a game and variety show that will surely bring joy, energy and hope to Filipinos all over the world,” said Bong Osorio, head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications.
“’Pilipinas Win na Win’ will be directed by Johnny Manahan, creative director Bobot Mortiz, business unit head Jay Montelibano, and executive producers Phoebe Anievas and Rancy Recato.
He also confirmed that Revillame will be given a new TV show.
The whole cast of “Pilipinas Win na Win” were really excited upon hearing the news, as it came as a big surprise to all of them, Pokwang even burst into tears.

I’m so happy that Wowowee is being replaced and that Willie is not with the show. I like the Wowowee format except for its host, Willie, who is arrogant, proud and no ethics. He shouldn’t be given any other show. That proud man is not a good example to viewers. Thank you ABS CBN and you finally came to reality that Willie doesn’t deserve to be on Wowowee. I hope you will also realize that he doesn’t deserve have any show. Don’t think that Willie is the reason for Wowowee’s success. Had you given the same support to any good hosts I’m sure it will still be a successful show. Willie is just using the poor people to gain more support and adoration. The poor are very vulnerable and with little dole outs they would think highly of a person like Willie.
I’m glad Willie is gone and I know I will be watching the new show.

Tama lang na alisin si Willie, napakawalang kuenta niyang tao….isipin mong duruduruin at i-dare ang ABS-CBN Mgt na kung hindi tatanggalin si Sulcadito, magre-resign siya….hindi tinanggal si Sulcadito, bakit hindi siya nagresign…..even in corporate offices and in TV shows NOBODY IS INDESPENSIBLE….!!!!
Thanks ABS CBN for putting a new show. It would be great without Willie who is really mayabang. Before I like him but what he did to Pres. Cory Aquino eh wala na yatang kapatawaran. Sobrang bastos at walang galang.
To the new show, goood luck to everybody. But Kris please give Robin a chance to talk once in a while. Not only you.
