A new emerging term called “Bekimon” is now making its way to pinoy pop culture. Bekimon is the new identity of gay langguage inspired from the word of the year “Jejemon,” and is made popular by Bern Josep Persia a photographer and a tech support representative.
Bekimon is defined by its creator Bern Josep Persia from his facebook page as:
BEKIMON : noun : isang BAKLA, LALAKING BAKLA o BABAENG BAKLA na HARDCORE gumamit ng GAY LINGO sa usapan at kahit sarili n’ya ay hindi rin n’ya maintindihan minsan. (Bekimon: noun: people who are “hard-core users” of gay language whether they are homosexuals or not.)
Words like jowa (boyfriend/girlfriend or spouse), kalurkey (kaloka or crazy), heller (hello), teh (ate or sister) are just a few example of a Bekimon term.
Here are a few videos from Bern Josep Persia‘s youtube page.

anu ang kontribusyon ng bekimon sa disiplina ng tao at lipunan?
Roy,
ang bekimon ay hindi ginawa para sa disiplna ng tao at lipunan. Sa halip, ito ay nagpapasaya ng mga tao.
Isa pa, ito ay ginagamit ng mga bading dahil sa mapang-aping lipunang Pilipino.
Ito ay hindi para sa disiplina. Ito ay para sa kalayaan at karapatan ng isang grupo sa ating lipunan.
@rod: it gives contribution to people in terms of happiness. how you make people smile in your own simple way.
i think you need that, it seems that you dont have any discipline at all. People like you should watch every clip of bekimon so that you’ll appreciate the art of beauty within and not dscriminating!!!!
