At a press conference on Wednesday, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced a new version of iPods, Apple Tv, and iTunes.

New iPod Touch – have some of the features of iPhone 4, and made even more slimmer. Features include Facetime – front- and rear-facing cameras for video calling; Retina display – that makes everything looks sharp and amazing; HD video recording – built-in HD video camera delivers brilliant video you can edit video or make movie; Game Center – gaming experience like no other with A4 Chip, retina display, gyro, multi touch, app store to pick thousands of games. Prices: 8GB $229, 32GB $299, 64GB $399

New iPod nano – touch screen, smaller, buttons from the previous version are out. Multi-touch – so everything is just a tap or swipe away; FM radio, and Fitness features. Prices: 8GB $149, 16GB $179.

New iPod shuffle – Only $49. Finger controls are back by popular demand, with, VoiceOver, and Playlists features.

New Apple TV – smaller and cheaper for just $99. Rent TV shows, commercial free in HD, plus Netflix, YouTube, MobileMe, and Flickr, stream photos and music from your computer to your widescreen TV.

iTunes 10 – comes with a new logo and a social network called “Ping.”
Ping is like Apple’s twitter that lets you follow your favorite artists and friends, discover the music they’re talking about, listening to, and downloading.

Did anyone notice that Steve Jobs wasnt wearing his normal turtle neck during his speech. Apple is going to dominate the media industry with this current update. Did anyone think they were going to release a new version of iPod. I cant wait to try it. Another step forward for Apple.
