She is born to a Filipino mother and British father. Her father is a banker in an online company sa Nottingham, England.
Her screen name before was Krista Sullivan when she was launched by ABS-CBN via Star Magic Batch 15. Her first TV role is the teen drama Star Magic Presents: Abt Ur Luv Ur Lyf 2.
She was also seen on tv shows like Totoy Bato-which stars her uncle Robin Padilla, Lokomoko High, Midnight DJ, Maalaala Mo Kaya: Kalapati (The Ninoy and Cory Love Story Part 1), Maalaala Mo Kaya: Makinilya (The Ninoy and Cory Love Story Part 2), Party Pilipinas, and Maynila.

Marian Rivera is said to be jealous with her because of rumors circulating linking Bella Padilla with her boyfriend Dingdong Dantes. But Bella quickly dismissed rumors and said in an interview that she’s not even close to either Dingdong or Marian because of age difference.
