Anthony Nepomuceno, a member of the Alpha Phi Omega (APO) fraternity, surrendered to Vice President Jejomar Binay who is also an APO member, after the NBI identified him as a suspect in the Bar Exam Blast last September 26.
The prime suspect surrendered, but he is not yet under arrest. He also denied any involvement in the blast.
According to reports, Anthony Nepomuceno, 27, is a former criminology student at Manuel L. Quezon University and a call center agent.
Around 50 people, mostly students, were injured in the explosion outside De la Salle University on the last day of the Bar exams.
Anthony Nepomuceno matched the artist’s sketch and the descriptions provided by eyewitnesses. Charges of multiple frustrated and attempted murder may be filed against him.
