Paul, the world famous octopus for predicting the World Cup 2010 winner has died in his aquarium in Germany on Tuesday, October 26. He was 2-years-old.
Management and staff at the Oberhausen Sea Life Centre discovered that Paul the octopus is dead. He passed away peacefully in his sleep.
“He appears to have passed away peacefully during the night, of natural causes, and we are consoled by the knowledge that he enjoyed a good life here and that the care provided him by our dedicated displays team could not have been bettered,” says Sea Life Center manager Stefan Porwoll.
