CONFIRMED! EXPECTING IN THE SPRING, MARIAH CAREY IS PREGNANT

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon confirmed on NBC’s Today Show that they are expecting their first child together this spring.  Mariah Carey’s pregnancy rumors have been circulating for months.

“Yes, we’re pregnant, this is true. It’s still early, we’re expecting in the spring.”

“It’s been a long journey, but it’s been tough because I have been trying to hold on to a shred of privacy and that was not easy,” said Carey. who also revealed that she suffered a miscarriage soon after she and Cannon married in 2008.

Meanwhile, Mariah Carey‘s latest work, the “Merry Christmas II You“ album, her second Christmas album, will be available on November 2, 2010. It features four original songs including the first single “Oh Santa!” and a reworked version of her biggest Christmas hit in 1994, “All I Want For Christmas Is You”.
