Entangled in the drama is Jax’s mom Gemma (Katey Sagal) who finds herself kidnapped and being used as messenger between the two warring groups.

Determined to keep his power and rule in town, Clarence ‘Clay’ Morrow (Ron Perlman), the step dad of Jax and current President of the Sons of Anarchy decides that retaliation is needed. But whatever plans he may have is he ready for the consequences that lay before him and the other riders?
