Jackie Evancho, the little girl who wowed America’s Got Talent judges with her soprano voice became the Top-Selling Debut Artist for 2010 after her new album titled “O Holy Night” debuted at No. 2 on Billboard 200 album chart with 239,000 copies sold in its first week.
This latest achievement also makes Jackie Evancho, 10, to be the youngest female solo artist to debut with a top 10 album, beating Michael Jackson who was 11 when The Jackson 5 first entered the top 10 album. She also beats Rihanna‘s album “Loud” which debuted at no. 3. The top-selling album at Billboard 200 belongs to Susan Boyle for her album “The Gift“. Jackie has also entered the Billboard Classical Chart at no. 1.
“O Holy Night” includes a bonus DVD of Jackie Evancho‘s performances during the fifth season of “America’s Got Talent,” her audition tape for the show, and an exclusive interview with Jackie filmed the week following the show’s finale.
