A dolled up Charice performed at Christmas in Rockefeller Center, the annual tree lighting event of the world famous Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. It was broadcasted live on NBC on Tuesday November 30.
Other big musical guests on NBC’s Christmas in Rockefeller Center show included Mariah Carey, Kylie Minogue, Josh Groban, Sheryl Crow, Susan Boyle, Jackie Evancho, Jessica Simpson, Katherine Jenkins, Annie Lennox, and The Radio City Rockettes.
Christmas in Rockefeller 2010 was hosted by Natalie Morales and Al Roker. The stars graced the event with live performances of current hits and holiday classics.

Boyz II Men performed “This Christmas” before Charice and David Foster went on stage.
Charice sang “Jingle Bell Rock” accompanied by her mentor David Foster on piano. But Charice’s number didn’t start well when the audio of Boyz II Men‘s rendition of “This Christmas” with vocals began to play. Charice and David Foster waited awkwardly for more than a minute for the right music to play, thanks God Charice’s performance ended well.
This incident raised question whether Boyz II Men was just lip-syncing or singing live in the “live” concert.
