Danica Magpantay bested contestants from other countries all over the world during the Ford Supermodel Of The World 2011 competition that was held in New York on January 22, 2011.
With her exotic looks Danica Magpantay, 17, made Filipinos proud for being the first Filipina to win in the Ford Supermodel of the World competition.
Besides winning the Ford Supermodel of the World 2011 title, she also receives the $250,000 modeling contract with Ford Models.

Danica Magpantay studies Visual Communications in the College of Fine Arts in UP and the daughter of Supermodel of the World – Philippines 1990 winner Milagros “Lala” Flores.
Ford Models Supermodel of the World is the largest and most prestigious international modeling competition. Established by Eileen Ford in 1980, the competition is dedicated in discovering new talent for the fashion industry.
