Japan used CH-47 Chinook helicopters to drop water in the crippled nuclear plant, but water appeared to be blown away by the wind. It sure looks difficult to aim the water inside the storage pools.
CH-47 Chinook Helicopters Dumping Water on Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant Video
After watching the video, some netizens thought of some other ways to drop water in the nuclear plant, like dropping a big plastic with water to hit the right target and use an unmanned helicopter to prevent the crews from being exposed to radiation.
According to reports, Japanese engineers are now considering burying the nuclear plant in sand and concrete if other options fail. This method was used in the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in 1986.
