Britney Spears is facing a lawsuit filed by Brand Sense Partners, LLC, accusing the pop princess and her father Jamie Spears for breach of contract.
According to reports, the lawsuit claims that Britney and Jamie violated their contract with Brand Sense by renegotiating a deal with Elizabeth Arden for her newest perfume called Radiance.
The new deal will give all royalties to Spears that will leave Brand Sense without the 35% commission they are contractually entitled for helping Britney secure the deal in 2004.
Brand Sense is seeking more than $10M in addition to compensatory and punitive damages, as well as a 35% commission on all lines of Spears’ perfumes created by Elizabeth Arden.
Radiance by Britney Spears was made available on the market in September 2010.
