Thia Megia was eliminated in American Idol Season 10 together with reggae mom Naima Adedapo in the “Elton John” themed episode last night (Friday morning in Manila).
The Fil-Am singer sang ‘Daniel‘ a ballad song from the album “Don’t Shoot Me I’m Only The Piano Player” during the elimination. She ended up in the bottom 3 together with Paul McDonald and Naima Adedapo.
America decided to vote out Megia and Adedapo and the two ended their journey in American Idol.
Two finalists were voted out because the judges used their one and only save of the season last week for Casey Abrams.
Most people think Megia’s song choice was very safe, singing slow songs throughout the season. Her one and only upbeat performance was her rendition of “Heatwave,” which was loved by the critics.
Thia is the youngest contestant in the history of American Idol. She was 15 years old when she joined the contestand. She celebrated her 16th birthday last January 30.
Only 9 contestants remain in the competition they are: Lauren Alaina, Haley Reinhart, Pia Toscano, Scotty McCreery, Paul McDonald, Casey Abrams, Stefano Langone, Jacob Lusk, and James Durbin.
