Video-sharing website YouTube announced that the British Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton will be live streamed on the official YouTube channel of the British Monarchy: www.youtube.com/theroyalchannel on Friday, April 29.
Live stream of the Royal wedding starts at 10:00am BST (5:00pm in Manila), and will follow the wedding procession, marriage ceremony at Westminster Abbey and balcony kiss, according to YouTube.
“This one is already heralded as the first of the Internet age, where for the first time in thousands of years of royal history, the moment will be captured online and preserved forever,” YouTube said in its blog.
The live stream will also have a live blog commentary. In addition, Google Earth is also set to offer a “Royals’-eye” view of the entire wedding procession. Google updated London, UK and wedding-related sites with high-resolution aerial imagery and expanded their 3D imagery of central London’s buildings and trees in Google Earth—including the entire royal procession route.
