According to several news sources, Anders Behring Breivik, the gunman in the shooting massacre in Norway on July 22, 2011 could end up in Halden prison, one of the most luxurious prisons in the world. It is the newest prison in Halden, Norway which has a capacity of 252 prisoners.
Criminals in Halden prison live a very comfortable life, the facility is packed with luxurious amenities like flat-screen televisions, minifridges, private bathroom, and unbarred windows.

The facility also has gym, jogging trails, personal trainers, library, recording studio where prisoners can form their own band, common kitchens and living rooms where inmates and guards can hangout, two bedroom-house for overnight visits of the prisoners’ family. Classes are also offered like cooking, music, welding, car-repairing, and IT lessons.
Half of the guards are women and guards don’t carry guns. The aim is to create a sense of family where guards and inmates eat and play sports together. Prisoners also enjoy health care and free dental checkups.
In Norway, were crime rates are very low, prisoners are treated humanely. Rehabilitation, not punishment prevail to help inmates leave as better people.
