Miss Philippines Shamcey Supsup currently has the highest chance to automatically advance to the semifinals of the 2011 Miss Universe Competition. Good news, she currently ranks first in the people’s choice online poll.
Earlier reports said Shamcey Supsup is currently at the top spot with 1,578 votes, or 25% of the total number votes. Miss Puerto Rico Viviana Ortiz came in second with 745 votes.

This is the first time in the history of the Miss Universe Competition in which the winner of a pre-pageant fan vote will automatically advance to the semifinals of the pageant.
Fans of Shamcey Supsup can vote online until September 11. You may vote up to 10 times per e-mail address per day.
Winner of the online voting will be announced during the LIVE telecast of Miss Universe 2011 Pageant.
Miss Universe 2010 Ximena Navarrete of Mexico will crown her successor in the 60th Miss Universe Pageant. The pageant will be held at the Credicard Hall, in São Paulo, Brazil on September 12, 2011. 89 candidates will vie for the Miss Universe 2011 crown.
