A concept video of iPad 3 has been circulating around the web, sparking new rumor that the iPad 3 will come with a transparent screen.
In his concept video, Dakota Adney, predicts that the new iPad will weigh in at 0.6 pounds, boasts a storage space of 16GB, battery life of 10 hrs, and 3G connectivity.
And the best of all, he predicts that it will have a transparent screen:
“The 9.7-inch Multi-Touch holographic screen lets you operate this Apple tablet PC more conveniently than an iPod or iPhone. Whether it is flipping a photograph or zooming a map, the operations have become more accurate and precise on the Apple iPad 3G. With photos, audio, and HD video at your fingertips, this 3G iPad is multimedia redefined. The iPad 3 is the perfect blend of performance and awesomeness,” according to Adney.
Dakota Adney may be thinking of iPad in 2020, but it will be strange to have the next iPad to be transparent.
Early rumors about the iPad 3 suggests that it will have A6 processor, Retina display – the screen technology used in iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, better cameras, and Siri.
iPad 3‘s release date is expected to be happening around the first quarter of 2012.

nice
nice
that’s not nice, you could see your lap while working on the ipad.
it would be too fragile. crack..oops!
It's funny how simply people think. If they developed a transparent tablet, its transparency/opacity would be adjustable per the features of various applications. And as for fragility, I highly doubt they'd release anything less than durable. Thinking through solutions is the very thing that these people, whether at Apple or any other company, get paid to do. There were also plenty of people who said the original iPad was a pointless product, yet somehow it works.
