Michael Jordan must feel like he is flying up up up in the air again after getting engaged to his long time girlfriend. The former Chicago Bulls star popped the question to Cuban model Yvette Prieto on Christmas Day.
Michael Jordan’s publicist, Estee R. Portnoy confirmed the news to CNN on Thursday. The wedding date has not yet been announced.
Jordan, 48, and Prieto 32, has been dating for more than three years. Prieto once dated singer Julio Iglesias Jr. — Enrique’s older brother.
This will be “His Airness’” second marriage. Jordan and his firs wife, Juanita Vanoy divorced in 2006 after 17 years of marriage. They have two sons, Jeffrey Michael and Marcus James, and a daughter, Jasmine. Juanita reportedly received a $168 million settlement, making it the largest celebrity divorce settlement.
