The woolly mammoth is not extinct after all. That is, if the video of what seems like a woolly mammoth crossing a river in Siberia is true. But, many people are not buying it.
The Sun reports that the footage was caught by a government-employed engineer last summer in the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug region of Siberia.

The video has caused great commotion on the web. Most viewers believe that the video is a hoax -a computer-generated mammoth inserted in the video, others think it’s simply an elephant, or just a bear with a huge fish in its mouth.
The fact that it was posted by a paranormal writer named Michael Cohen is another factor why many people are questioning its authenticity. Reports said that Cohen has been involved with UFO videos and other phenomena.
Hollywood video special effects artist Derek Serra told Life’s Little Mysteries that in his opinion, the video have been intentionally blurred.
“Even low-resolution cameras can focus fairly well on something. But there’s really nothing in this video in focus. The rocks in the foreground have a blur to them that doesn’t seem natural,” Serra said.
You want to see a real woolly mammoth? Maybe in about four to five years if the planned cloning of woolly mammoth becomes successful.
