LAMBORGHINI SUV PRICE, SPECS, PHOTOS–LAMBORGHINI PRESENTS ‘URUS’ THE SUV SUPER ATHLETE

Lamborghini’s SUV, dubbed as the Lamborghini Urus, or “LB736.”, was unveiled to the public yesterday at the Beijing Auto Show. Lamborghini finally revealed what its SUV will look like, see photos below.

Lamborghini says that the concept SUV will be the third model in its line-up and it would be a car “for everyday use, for the family, for leisure pursuits with friends.”

The name Urus is taken from an ancient line of Spanish bulls. Urus has the all-new 24-inch wheels, targets 600 horsepower for the output and permanent all-wheel-drive, but does not specify the engine configuration. Urus promises to beat all competitors when it comes comparable to CO2 emissions.

Virtually the complete interior is – in keeping with the Lamborghini’s lightweight design strategy – finished in carbon fiber reinforced polymer.

Lamborghini is very likely to bring some version of this vehicle to market. Target markets are primarily the USA, the United Kingdom, Germany, Russia, the Middle East and China. The annual production volume could conceivably be around 3,000. It is expected to arrive in 2015 and will be carrying an estimated price tag of $200,000.
