Jillian Michaels, the celebrity trainer, is finally back in action to join fellow trainers and fitness experts Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince in season 14 of the reality weight loss show “The Biggest Loser.”
The new season will go after the problem of childhood obesity. Michaels will work on kids from ages 13-17 who will compete alongside adult contestants, according to reports. But the teens won’t face elimination and will not be weighed on TV unlike adult competitors.
“As a former overweight teen, I know firsthand how dramatically weight issues can affect every aspect of a child’s life,” Michaels said in a statement.
Michaels said on the TODAY show that some of the top experts pediatricians, child psychologists will be consulted by the producers of the show to help them deal in the most delicate and appropriate ways.
