Robredo’s body found. Interior Secretary Jesse Robredo has been found dead. Robredo’s body was retrieved Tuesday morning from the sea after a plane he was travelling in crashed off Masbate on Saturday. The body of the two pilots were also recovered. Transport Secretary Mar Roxas told reporters that the plane’s fuselage was found around 7:35 am Tuesday at 180 feet deep, 800 meters off Masbate. Robredo was found inside the plane. His body was surfaced at around 8:40 a.m.

JESSE ROBREDO MISSING – PHILIPPINE OFFICIAL’S PLANE CRASHES OFF MASBATE…DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo is missing after the light plane he was travelling in crashed in the island province of Masbate Saturday afternoon. Reports said, Senior Inspector Jhun Abrasado, Robredo’s aide, was able to jump out and survived the crash. He was given a first aid immediately after the rescue and was able to assist in the search and rescue operations.
