Beckham, LA Galaxy wins 6-1 Against Philippine Azkals. LA Galaxy beat the Philippine Azkals 6-1 in a friendly that was part of the MLS champions’ Asian tour. David Beckham scored the Galaxy’s first goal giving his team the lead in the 20th minute. This was followed by a goal from Mike Magee that was set up by Landon Donovan.

Floyd Mayweather went after HBO’s veteran commentator Larry Merchant after his controversial fight with Victor Ortiz. During the post-fight interview, Mayweather snapped out when the 80-year-old commentator asked about him taking advantage of the situation.

Floyd Mayweather knocks out Victor Ortiz on the 4th round. It was a controversial end that some fans of Ortiz want a rematch. On the 4th round Ortiz head-butted Mayweather and was deducted a point for his headbutt. Ortiz went to hug Mayweather to apologize but Mayweather landed a sucker punch. Mayweather knocked Ortiz down and the fight ends with the crowd booing Mayweather for his classless act.
