Ivy Bean joined Twitter in 2009, one year after she registered on Facebook. Ivy had originally become an internet sensation through Facebook with 4,952 friends, before switching to Twitter last year. She is known for being the oldest “tweeter” after that with over 57,000 followers. She also gained celebrity friends like Peter Andre, Chris Evans and ex-prime minister’s wife Sarah Brown.

Her tweets were about her daily life and her friends.

Ivy Bean had fallen ill last month. She died peacefully in her sleep at 12:08 am.

She was arrested in the US for attempting to transport the state-of-the-art high tech vision goggles to Moscow.

The state-of-the-art high tech vision goggles are not allowed for export without preapproval from the Department of State because they are considered weapons.

She denies the accusations and says that the scopes were for big game hunters. But she admitted removing identifying markers from the scopes and blacking out serial numbers with a marker.

According to reports, the three US made military goggles cost $4,000, $4,000 and $7,000. One of the devices is Raptor 4X Night Vision Weapons Sight, a state-of-the-art night weaponsight, the most accurate night imaging device designed to meet military requirements for long range accuracy, and is designed to be mounted on almost any weapon.

She is currenly on bail on a $50,000 bail but was placed on a 24-hour home arrest.  She is expected to leave her home in Plano, Texas for Brooklyn in July to face official charges in court.  If convicted, Fermanova could face up to 10 years in prison.

Heavy rains and flooding caused traffic, widespread power outages, and a giant sink hole in Milwaukee that swallowed a Cadillac Escalade.

The driver was able to get out safely and was taken to a hospital.

The Milwaukee Sinkhole is located on the corner of Oakland and North Avenues. Witnesses estimated it to be about 20 feet deep and 15 feet wide. Police say that the sinkhole could get bigger if the rain continues.

The UFO with four lantern-like objects forming a diamond shape hovered over the city’s Shaping Park for over an hour around 8 pm.

Eyewitness said that it was the same UFO that caused flight delays in Hangzhou’s Xiaoshan Airport in China last week.

This is the 1st China UFO that appeared on the airport.

A witness surnamed Chen said:
“I stared at it and it did not move,” Chen said. “After hovering for an hour, the thing started to fly higher and finally out of people’s sight.”

Like the one before it, no official explanation has been given for this latest incident.

Official explanation about the 1st UFO sighting on the airport is expected to be given yesterday, but as of today no conclusion has yet been drawn.

A source with knowledge of the matter refused to disclose any details because of its “military connection.”

Argentina legalized same-sex marriage Thursday, becoming the first country in Latin America to declare that gays and lesbians have all the legal rights, responsibilities and protections that marriage brings to heterosexual couples.

After a marathon debate, 33 lawmakers voted in favor, 27 were against it and 3 abstained in Argentina’s Senate in a vote that ended after 4 a.m. Since the lower house already approved it, and President Cristina Fernandez is a strong supporter, it now becomes law as soon as it is published in the official bulletin.

The law is sure to bring a wave of marriages by gays and lesbians who have increasingly found Buenos Aires to be more accepting than many other places in the region.  But, only citizens and residents can wed in the country, and the necessary documents can take months to obtain.

The approval came despite a concerted campaign by the Roman Catholic Church and evangelical groups, which drew 60,000 people to march on Congress and urged parents in churches and schools to work against passage.

Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio said “everyone loses” with gay marriage, and “children need to have the right to be raised and educated by a father and a mother.”

Nine gay couples had already married in Argentina after persuading judges that the constitutional mandate of equality supports their marriage rights, but some of these marriages were later declared invalid.

These sightings caused Xiaoshan Airport to close. Flights was also diverted and delayed in China.  Witnesses said that they see a slow pulse of light coming on and then off from the UFO. Then suddenly it ran fast, like it was escaping from something.

Authorities had learned what the UFO was after an investigation. But, they refused to disclose any details because of its “military connection.”

The airport had resumed operations, and more details will be released after an investigation. Official explanation is expected to be given on Friday.

The long wait is over for Spain’s 1st ever FIFA World Cup Title.

The 2010 FIFA World Cup officially came to an end at Soccer City in Johannesburg, South Africa with Spain securing the title.

Spain beats Netherlands winning the World Cup with a goal from Spain’s midfielder Andres Iniesta.

Spain’s hero Andres Iniesta scored with four minutes of extra time remaining to help Spain rule the soccer world with 1-0 victory over the Netherlands.

Spain is the eighth nation to receive the honor in the tournament’s 80-year history.  This

made the team only the third to be world and European champion at the same time.
